2012 Golf Tournaments Results

Participants from across the Metroplex gathered Monday, August 13 to improve opportunities for Duncanville ISD students. Forty-seven competitors played in the Duncanville ISD Education Foundation 2012 Champions for Children Golf Tournament, raising over $9,500 to fund instructional resources for teachers at all district campuses.

It was easy to spot real talent on the course, with several players taking home winning titles. Lois Webb and Steve Bixel had the longest drives, Doyce Smith and Greg Contreras won the Closest To Hole category, Trevor Kerr won the putting contest, and Mike Hood won the chipping contest. Steve Davis, Trevor Kerr, Doug Bryant, and Mike Hood were all declared winners in the First Place category.

We would like to extend a special Thank You to local businesses for their generous donations of funds and gifts to help make the event a success.
